God is trustworthy and He has proven Himself faithful to help me with all my fear. 'Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.' – Psalm 56:3 Now I know who I am in God and that He protects me. I use to be afraid of people and what they would say about me. 'The Lord is my light and my salvation Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life Of whom shall I be afraid?' – Psalm 27:1 There are times when the battle with fear seems so big and overwhelming, but when God is with us, we realize how small it is to Him and that knowledge brings us strength. 'When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.' – Deuteronomy 20:1 Through this Scripture I have learned that the best thing to do when you are fearful is to be still and not react. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.'' –Exodus 14:13a 'And Moses said to the people, 'Do not be afraid. Not only does he shield us so that we don't have to be afraid, but He rewards us as well. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.'' – Genesis 15:1 'After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, 'Do not be afraid, Abram. The Lord wants to help us in our fear, we do not have to deal with it alone. 'So we may boldly say: 'The Lord is my helper I will not fear.

'For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.' – 2 Timothy 1:7 Once I knew it was bondage I chose to get rid of it with my Father's help.

'For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father.'” – Romans 8:15įear is not my friend, but I use to think it was. I am valuable to God and because of that He watches over me. 'Do not fear therefore you are of more value than many sparrows.' – Matthew 10:31 When I realized that God commanded us not to fear I realized that if He commanded it, then He would give me the strength to conquer it. 'Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.' – Joshua 1:9 The more I came to realize just how much God loves me, the easier it was to trust Him and let go of the fear. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.' – 1 John 4:18 'There is no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. So today I am going to share with you fourteen verses that have I used when I was fearful and I hope that they will help you too. When I got afraid there were scriptures I had memorized and would repeat to myself, which would give me strength to conquer that fear. One of the things that really helped me was to place my focus on God's Word. The amazing thing is now that I am free, I don't know how I ever lived carrying around the weight of fear that I did.

Until God started working on my heart I never knew just how much fear was in there. The strength you needed to move past fear was with you all along. One of the biggest things that I have had to conquer in my Christian walk is fear. (Reading Bible verses about anxiety, Bible verses about worry, Bible verses about courage, and-if you or a loved one is facing a serious illness- Bible verses about death can be of comfort too.) After reflecting on these passages, you may find that the winds have calmed and the clouds have parted. These Bible verses about fear can provide an anchor to hold you fast as you weather the storm. While fear is a common human experience, the Scripture's promise that God walks with the faithful at all times has heartened us to overcome our fears through the ages: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4). When we close our eyes for a night’s sleep, our minds may begin turning over a million what-ifs about tomorrow, filling us with anxiety about circumstances beyond our control. We might fear losing someone dear to us, or worry about our future or our children’s.
#LET YOUR FAITH BE STRONGER THAN YOUR FEAR BIBLE VERSE WINDOWS#
Fear does, after all, have a way of creeping in on us, though we may close the windows tight and double check the doors. It is no wonder that the message to “Fear not…” appears so frequently in the Bible.
